Should you have a problem with an engine or part purchased, please ring CENTRAL MOTOR WRECKERS, DO NOT DISMANTLE ANY ASSEMBLY such as engines, gearboxes, differentials, etc as they are only warranted whilst they are intact.

All guarantees and warranties are null and void if the assembly is dismantled. Incorrect or poor fitting, failure to carry out proper maintenance, modifications or non original use will cancel warranty.

* Parts must be fitted by a licensed repairer/ mechanic.

* Broken or damaged gears in gearboxes and differentials are not cover by warranty.

* All turbos are not covered by engine warranty.

It should be noted that, CENTRAL MOTOR WRECKERS will not be held responsible for:

* Any labour/ towing costs of part replacement.

* Any consequential damage or costs, Ioss of income or demurrage/downtime that may arise from the use of our parts.

* Any costs of unauthorized repair work.

* Warranty period starts from date of purchase.

Before installing an engine, gearbox, transmission or mechanical part please note the following points:

* Ensure cooling system is in good condition, check radiator, hoses, cap, thermostat, etc.

* Use the correct oil and lubricants and keep them at the correct level, replace oil, fuel & air filters

* Timing belts should be checked before installation and replaced if necessary, CENTRAL MOTOR WRECKERS warranty does not extend to damage done by a timing belt failure.

* All oil seals must be checked and replaced if needed (Be aware that leaking seals are not covered by warrantY).

* For Diesel engine fits you need to service injectors and injector pump (No warranty will be carried out on engines that have damage caused by faulty injectors and /or pump.

* Use of after market ECU (computer) voids warranty.

* Water pumps need to be checked for wear or corrosion & replaced if necessary.

* Failure to comply with these points will null and void any warranty given. Any damage caused by overheating/ heat tab failure or missing, or lack of proper lubricants will be the customer's liability. Engine accessories are not covered under warranty (Engines are sold bare long) and the choice is the customers as to whether they use our accessories or their existing ones Turbos, wiring looms, injectors and injector/fuel pumps are also classified as an accessory.
